RW Salt supply RCF TTL33-A to Saville AV
Another RCF TTL33-A Line Array system leaves the
factory,
this time destination Saville AV.
RW Salt, one of the UK's leading Pro/Commercial
Audio Distributors, has recently supplied the new
RCF TT+ Line Array system following a series of
demos to Saville AV. After testing quite a few Line
Array systems, Saville AV decided that the RCF
system was the right choice for them. Darren Howard
of Saville AV had contacted RW Salt's Paul Atherton
asking if he could recommend a few line arrays and
after trying them, asked if he could use the RCF
TTL33-A line array modules and TTS28-A Subwoofers
at a forthcoming event at the Telford International
Centre.
Atherton contacted RCF's Greg Oliver who had
carried out the previous demo to guarantee that the
system would be available and the date was fixed.
Atherton explained "Both Greg and myself arrived at
the centre, one of largest conference venues that
Saville AV use, and immediately made an impact with
the fact that the main audio engineer could not
believe that the whole system he was about to use
was in the back of a standard transit style van.
Once inside the venue we showed the Saville's crew
how simple it was to set-up using RCF's prediction
software. Following on from that, it took just a
short time and we were actually flying the system.
(5 x TTL33-A plus 2 x TTS28-A per side). As soon as
it was in place the engineer wasted no time in
trying it out by playing a myriad of music. Darren
was impressed by the fact that his engineer (a well
travelled touring FOH engineer with vast experience
of line array systems) praised the system for it's
compact size, efficient set-up, but more
importantly its clear and detailed sound, and no
end of power."

Howard comments
"The RCF system is such a powerful tool for us, its
compact size is superb, sound quality and
intelligibility are fantastic, and we can cover
medium to large format conferences and outdoor live
music events with it. A major plus is its weight
given the fact that it has active on board
amplification, it still weighs the same if not less
than most of the other passive systems that we
tried, which can only assist in the whole logistics
of the system. It's also very cost effective, which
is a major plus with a price point that is
comparable to many passive systems of other well
known brands. RW Salt's customer support has always
been second to none and I have no doubt that this
will continue, and from the service that RCF have
shown so far with their product knowledge and
training, that they too are a 100% behind their
products and their customers, which is an added
bonus in today's world."
Oliver concludes "It's great that Saville AV have
chosen the RCF line array system for their larger
events, Darren was very meticulous on what he
wanted from a system and with such a specific
criteria our system came out top. RW Salt is one of
a strategically selected group of RCF TT+ Audio
Partners and also one of RCF major UK distributors
and it's great that they get behind our products
with a real passion. Paul has spent a lot of time
with Saville AV's audio team demonstrating the TT+
products and it's this kind of knowledge, service
and support which makes the difference to such
companies when they are investing in large
systems."
